in the beginning

there was only dust.

dust swirled about, loose and fragile, wild and free

boundless in space, roving spews of future creatures

the fits and starts of early animals destined to cage themselves

cages only of compacted dust

oblivious to their shackles, to true reality

all is dust, dust in their eyes and dust in their homes.

only waiting for their escape.

this is why we are here; to release the dust back into the wilderness of space. to create a wilderness of dust. or to become dust

again ourselves.
